Sunday October 22nd 1922 Late breakfast and walked through Temple Park where the Mormon Church and other buildings are located. Left on one oclock. Traveled all PM through Mountains. Train not crowded. Monday October 23rd 1922 Rode most of the day through dry lands I had nose bleed so much when I reached Omaha Mr Cameron and Birdie met me. Tuesday October 24th 1922 Decided to stay today. Had a fine Auto ride in afternoon. Some company in the evening. I was glad of this chance to rest. Wednesday October 25th 1922 Visited in AM. They took me to train at three oclock. I saw Frank Mitchell there. When I reached Des Moines William & Mary met me. Ott, Fannie, Hattie, Cora & Mrs Dow drove up reaching there a few minutes after I did. Ott went on to Kansas City. Hattie & I spent the night with The Williams girls. Thursday October 26th 1922 The folks went back in the car. I rested and took a ride in afternoon. Called on Mrs Wilson. Spent night at Williams girls. Friday October 27th 1922 Left for home at 11.15. When I got here had my trunk taken over. The folks in town. A big meeting on. I put away some of my things. Hattie and I down to Fannies for the evening. Saturday October 28th 1922 I unpacked my trunk in forenoon. After dinner did some washing. Then down to Fannies. The others in town. Still beautiful weather. Evening at home. Wrote in this book.
