Sunday, March 19, 1865. With Mr & Mrs Dee went to Division St & heard Dr [Corkhill] preach an excellent sermon. Then to Mrs Darwins. It seemed next thing to home to be there again Left after dinner & went to Sabbath school where I saw many of the dear old friends. Did not go into Old Lion for I thought of the noble brother carried thence to the grave a few months before and wept. Mr. L- called to see me in the eve. Spent a delightful time with Mrs Darwin.
