Friday June 22nd 1923 We rode out to George Stevens for berries in the AM and then over town. I rested in afternoon. Rob took us a ride after supper. very warm. Saturday June 23rd 1923 I was busy all forenoon. Laura did her washing. Hattie ate dinner with us. At twelve oclock we went to River Junction to a picnic with Ott and Fannie. We saw May. She lives there now. We called at Stevens ad Uncle Jims on the way home. Supper with Hattie. Letter from L D L. Sunday June 24th 1923 Hattie, Laura and I went to church with Ott. Laura went home with Andersons. In afternoon wrote Ida and Lizzie Lindley. Evening on the porch. Monday June 25th 1923 A very warm day. I could not work at any thing worth while. Norma did the washing. We were down to Otts in the evening. A rain later. To town with Cora in AM. I bought a silk cloak. Tuesday June 26th 1923 Hattie went to town to do shopping and then on to Cedar Rapids with The Whetstones. I rode to town with Fannie. Paid for my cloak, We called at Mrs Webbs. After supper Ott took us to The West Farm. It looks so fine. Wednesday June 27th 1923 Hattie and I rode to town with Cora to see show parade and Rob took us down to the grounds late in afternoon. I have sewed on dress what spare time I had. Letters from Nellie & Winnie. It rained in evening.
