Sunday November 4th 1923 There was no good way to ride so I did not go to church. William and Mary went home at noon I wrote Joe Woolf, Ella Nagle, Sue & Sallie {Reed} and H E Rowe at Camp Kearney, Cal. Evening at home. Monday November 5th 1923 It was a fine day. Hattie went to town in forenoon. I could not work on my bag for the loss of the needle. I sewed some, but worked at that in evening. Tuesday November 6th 1923 Fannie had a luncheon today. The girls were down there. I sewed some and did a lot on my bag. Wednesday November 7th 1923 Sewing in AM. Letters from Lydia and Mrs Falk. The girls both away in afternoon. I was busy with the outside work of house cleaning in afternoon. Wrote to Birdie. The weather is fine. Evening at home. Thursday November 8th 1923 All of us at the house cleaning. Cora in her rooms after the closet had been built in Robs room. The girls went to a luncheon. Norman and I kept at it all afternoon. I got mine all done. Hattie back to town to Missions study at supper time. A fine day. I did up a box of Wills things for John Ware. Letter from Ida Burkett. Friday November 9th 1923 Did washing and walked to town and back. Had lunch with Presbyterian ladies here at noon. Later Hattie & Cora went to party at Alliene Johnstones. I wrote to Warner McCall and other letters.
