Mr Falk away all day. a letter from Laura. we did not go out in evening. Thursday February 7th 1924 It was cool today as yesterday. I read all forenoon. The Pickens called for a little while. Mrs Falk had other callers in the afternoon. Wrote to Winnie. Friday February 8th 1924 Still cold. I read some and wrote to Warner McCall. We were going down town late in afternoon but the car would not work. Mr Falk went down to get the mail. I had a letter from Hattie and Mr Ellis and two papers.
