Monday June 9th 1924
I wrote Hattie & May in forenoon. A letter from Lydia
with clipping. George Corwine of Lincoln. suicide. I slept in PM.
Tuesday June 10th 1924
I read most of the forenoon. Jane and I had a fine
Auto ride in PM with Art Mc---. On the porch in evening.
Wednesday June 11th 1924
I walked down town to see about trains. Had letter
from Fannie and wrote to her. Art Mc--- took Jane and me
on Auto ride around town and over to Norman. Evening on porch.
Thursday June 12th 1924
I fixed up a box to send home. Art Mc--- took me out to
Gertrude Mitchells. She brought me down town in her car.
I did some sewing for myself in PS, was over at Art Mc---
and Dr Phillips in evening. Wrote William and Lydia.
Friday June 13th 1924
Was busy with my own affairs in AM. It is very warm.
Art & Grace took Jane & me for a ride in the evening.
Saturday June 14th 1924
I wrote Hattie a letter and cards to Vene, Lizzie Lindley,
Mrs Falk & Ida. I sewed in afternoon. We rode with Art
and Grace in evening. Out to lake to see the people swim.
Sunday June 15th 1924
Art Mc--- took me to the station to get my ticket
before we went out to Catherines to have dinner. Later
he brought me home and I packed my things to go. After
supper Art took me to the station. I had a comfortable
place in The Pullman. My third visit here since Will died is ended.
