Thursday March 23rd 1916 I did not rest well last night. The car was too warm to be comfortable in the berth. We reached K C on time. We saw the new depot but cant say we like the arrangement of it. Our wait was not dedious and the days ride easy in a quiet Pullman. Reached Okla City at one oclock went right up to Janes and Ella let us in and we did not disturb her. Friday March 24th 1916 It was such a nice day. Visited with the folks. Wrote some letters in afternoon and took them to the office Called at Mrs Phillip but came home soon to escape a heavy shower. Father would have been 100 years old today. Saturday March 25th It was a cool cloudy day with wind and some rain I was not out of the house. I crotcheted some and read to Ira. Art Mc. spent the evening with us. Sunday March 26th 1916 It snowed most of the day melting as it fell. I read a book. Will down town with Art & Grace. I was over to Arts awhile. Will Jane and I talked till late bed time. Art & Ella down town in the evening. Monday March 27th 1916 It was pleasant again today. I read and did fancy work. I took a walk in afternoon and called at Mrs Knights rooms. We were all at home in the evening.
