Monday April 3rd 1916 I feel better today. Did some writing in forenoon Ella and I were downtown all afternoon going to the shows. In the evening Will & I went with Art & Grace. Bro Rob would have been 62 years old today. Tuesday April 4th 1916 I was busy at home all forenoon and in the afternoon Took a walk down town. We spent evening at home. Wednesday April 5th 1916 I was busy with fancy work and read to Ira. I had a letter from Fannie today. No word from [Delason?] I took a walk in afternoon. Weather quite pleasant again. Thursday April 6th 1916 I was over to Mrs Phillips awhile in forenoon. I wrote Vene. I spent the afternoon at home and started the lace for center piece. A card from Hattie. Rain in evening. Friday April 7th 1916 Was at home all forenoon working on my lace. Soon after dinner Jane Will & I went down town to the shows. Then we girls looked through the stores. We saw Anna Hedges spent the evening at home. Art Mc. here till late bed-time Saturday April 8th 1916 I worked on my lace all forenoon. I am getting it right after some trouble. Weather cold. It froze ice last night I went to a musical with Gertrude Mitchell in afternoon and then on down town. We spent evening at home.
