Friday April 21st 1916 A beautiful day. Ella & I went down town in forenoon to see the "101 Ranch" parade. Spent the afternoon at home doing fancy work. Was ovfer to Art Mc for dinner and after supper again. Catherine came home this evening. Saturday April 22bd 1916 Jane did not feel well today. I took a street car ride in forenoon and called to see Nllie Williams but did not find her at home. I went to see Gertrude Mitchell in afternoon. Jane felt so badly they had the Dr late in afternoon. Sunday April 23rd 1916 Easter Sunday. I went to the Christian Church and Will & I were at Art Mc for dinner. We spent the evening at Janes reading. She was in bed and Art & Ella went down town awhile. A beautiful day. Monday April 24th 1916 I washed a couple of pieces we needed and went down town for some things. I had to go back in the evening to change a pair of gloves. Jane is up today. Tuesday April 25th 1916 We packed up a few things and had some lunch so we left the house before eleven oclock to go to Mountain View to visit Arch Stinsons. It rained most of the day but stopped before we got there. Arch met us we spent the evening pleasantly with the family. This would have been Bro Charlies 70th birthday anniversary. Wrote to Ott.
