Saturday November 4th 1916 I did baking this forenoon. We went down town together at 2:15. I went up to Hatties and Will come over there for supper. Mrs Dow is here. e ran on some folks all went to a picture show in the evening "Cinderella." Will and I come home together at 9:30. The Delevan paper says Little Betty Webster is dead with dyptheria. I wrote Lydia a card. Sunday November 5th 1916 Rob called early and wanted us to ride with them today. We got ready by nine oclock. Paul Helmich come out in his car for a call. The folks came out for us. We got to Mt Pleasant to eat our lunch. From there we went to Fairfield. Then to Washington where we got early supper and Rob done us up along side the 6:30 car in time to go home. Mrs G Smith died last night. Monday November 6th 1916 I did some mending in forenoon. Will went down to the dentisits at 1:15 and I went an house later to attend Mrs A G Smiths funeral came home at 4:30. Will an hour later. I worked on my tatting all evening. Tuesday November 7th 1916 Will worked at the election polls all day for Ott. I spent the day at Aunt Emmas to visit with Aunt Sarah. It was like a summer day. Marjorie Denton got a cable gram that Myron Walker was coming. They will be married the 22nd Wednesday November 8th 1916 Will went back to the dentists. It rained all day long. I did a lot of inside house cleaning. washed curtains, wood work. Did sweeping and dusting.
