Saturday March 18th 1917 Will and I went to town with Rob in the car for the 9:30 car. I was busy all day unpacking and cleaning things up some. There had been so much wind that the dirt was in the worst it had even been. I did some writing late in day. Monday March 19th 1917 I did some washing with Wills help. finished sweeping and cleaning the house. Then baked a cake. weather some milder though a strong wind blew. Crotched in evening. Tuesday March 20th 1917 I ironed in forenoon and pressed two shirts for Will. He took the little basket I got for Mrs Hoffman up to her and to see Mr Hoffman who is very sick. I went to town at 1:15 and to a picture show with Hattie & Cora. I come home at 3:30 and was jist in time to see the ice go over the dam. Wednesday March 21st 1917 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon did more washing. I went to town and after doing some errands over to Hatties to stay till after supper. Came back to town with Rob at 7:15. and home on the next car. weather quite pleasant. Thursday March 22nd 1917 It was a year today since we started to Oklahoma City. I was busy all forenoon doing baking and other cooking. Hattie came out for the day. I was working on my spread all the time I had from the work. I walked down to the depot with Hattie after supper. She went home at 7:15. weather pleasant.
