Monday March 11th 1918 Weather a little more pleasant. Louise and I walked up to see her house. I was busy knitting and read some in a book. Tuesday March 12th 1918 At the house in forenoon and in the afternoon Arch took Bell and us for a long Auto ride. It was warm and very windy. We w ere very tired and went to bed early. Wednesday March 13th 1918 I went up to the store early for a walk. Later the wind began to blow and there was a hurricane of dust of sand all day. It was not fit to go out of the house and very very warm. Thursday March 14th 1918 We started to Okla City at 8:40 after a very pleasant visit. It had turned colder and the wind still blew but not so strong as yesterday. Arriver at 2:30 and went right to our room. After supper spent the evening at Janes. The wind stopped at dark. Friday March 15th 1918 I was busy in the room all morning and down to Janes in the afternoon. I did a little writing. Spent evening in the room. Saturday March 16th 1918 Soon after dinner Will, Mrs Joyce, her daughter, and I 'went down town to a play. We stopped at janes awhile before going to supper. The evening was spent at hone. Will reading and I buys with my work.
