Wednesday January 22nd 1919 Got up some earlier. I was going to spend the afternoon with Mary Woolf. Rob got stuck on the hill for lack of gasoline and had to walk to town for the other car. It made us late but I spent a couple of hours with her before going to Dr Bronsons for my last treatment. Came home with Rob & Cora. Letter from Lydia and card from Lizzie Duncan. Thursday January 23rd 1919 Did not get up very early. The folks all went to town in afternoon. I went out to Ida's to spend the afternoon with she and Aunty.Rob went to Chicago tonight. Friday January 24th 1919 She that was Ann McCall was in the city for a few days and took dinner with us. Hattie went to town late in the afternoon. I went to bed very early. Saturday January 25th 1919 I did not get up till nearly noon. Aunt Emma Anna & Mary were over in the afternoon. The furnace did not so well all day and Mr William cleaned it out in evening. letter from Lydia. Sunday January 26th 1919 Hattie went to church. I did not get up till noon. Fred & Effie called in afternoon. a very pleasant day. Rob home this morning. Monday January 27th 1919 I wrote Lydia. Birdie and I went to town with Rob. I went with her to Dr Gardner. I then went to the bank and to Dr Smith for medicine. We girls walked home and found Ida here with Hattie. went to bed early.
