Saturday March 16, 1912 weather some better. Ida went to town to see about dress working and did not get home til 2.40. We worked in the [fireroom?] and I [illegible] the [illegible[ strong. Will went to town at 1.15. I cleaned the rooms up stairs and the kitchen and did the ironing and [illegible] a chicken before supper. Went to bed early. Word from Rob or Cora a few days ago tells. They was to go to Boulder the 15th where Rob has a job at 85.00 a month. Sunday March 17, 1912 It was not such a bad day but we all stayed at home. John wrote letters in the [foreroom?] and I was busy with the dinner. I wrote a letter to Lizzie [Lindley?] Sallie Reed Rob or Cora Alice [Gander?]. John [illegible] and cards to [Loud Reeves?] and [N.J.Able?]. This is St Patricks day. Monday March 18, 1912 Ida went down town this morning to see about dress working. It was late when we had dinner. We did fancy work and read and talked. Weather still [illegible]. Tuesday March 19, 1912 The weather [threatening?]. We were at Lorrie all day. I began to make a petticoat out of the lining to my black silk cloak. A letter from [Jim Nellis?] says she is going down to North [Henderson?] for a visit. Wednesday March 20, 1912 It was late when we got up. We had about the worst snow storm of the season today. We girls wanted to go down town tonight to hear a great [pianist?] [illegible], but could not. I secured an [illegible] skirt and did some fancy work.
