Tuesday March 26th 1912 Will took Ida down town for the 10.35 this evening. I got the ironing done and dinner over so I went down at 1.15- stopped at [illegible] and went with the girls over to Mrs Davis on Summit St to a recital. I stopped to inquire about Dr Smith who has been ill. I enjoyed the afternoon and did not get home till 6.40 Wednesday March 27th 1912 I had hardly finished any morning work till I did some sewing. In the afternoon I worked a pillow core to embroider. Will about most of the day. The snow is going very fast. I wrote to Ida. Thursday March 28th 1912 [illegible] callend up this morning and wanted us to come down for the day. I waited for the mail and got a letter from Ida that I took with me. {Ott?] is in Carthage ill today. . [Hallie?] spent part of the afternoon with us. I read most of the evening. Friday March 29 1912 [Ott?] called this morning and said Nellie is coming at 3.08 and asked me to meet her and bring her out with us. Will went to town in the forenoon. I baked bread and cleaned the house up nicely. I went down at 1.15 and was to see Ott for a little time before going to the depot. Nellie came and we came on out home. She had head ache and rested before supper. Ott, Fannie and [Nellie/} came out in the evening and did not go home till 10.15. There were things to talk over of great [illegible] to Harry and Nellie and in fact to all of us. The snow is melting very fast. Lee would have been 50 years old today. A letter from Lydia
