Friday June 28th 1912 I was busy with the cooking all forenoon. It is very warm and dusty. I went down town a couple of hours in the afternoon, was up in the office to talk with Ott a little while. I wrote By & Millie. Louie & Mollie were out to spend the evening. Word from John is he is no better. Saturday June 29th 1912. Laura went down town in the monring. I was busy in the kitchen all forenoon. Will put in the entire day in town. I slept three hours in the afternoon. I had not slept well for several night. The word from John is he is better. We girls sat on the porch after supper with our fancy work. Sunday June 30th 1912. It is four years today since Rob & Cora were married. Laura went to church in the evening. I did a little writing and got the dinner. I wrote a letter to LeGrand in the afternoon. Then slept some. Spent evening on the porch. Monday July 1st 1912 I put in the forenoon sweeping and cleaning. Wrote to Hattie in afternoon and slept some. Laura and I spent the evening at home. Word from Boulder John is some better. A nice shower at 4 oclock. Tuesday July 2nd 1912. I did some washing in forenoon. Will sold one of the waggons, hay rake [all?] to Charlie Lee this morning. I went down to Fannies afternoon and hurried up town at 5 oclock to get medicine for "profit" who is in bad condition from a hurt in his foot gotten some time ago. Did evening work.
