Sunday August 25th 1912 It was a very warm day. I did some writing and got the dinner. I slept in afternoon and washed my hair it was so fine to dry it. Will & I talked on the porch all evening. Monday August 26th 1912 Will took Jinnie over to the farm to go on with the painting. John & Hattie were out awhile & worked on my tatting some. Rob & Cora were out to supper and stayed till 9:15. Tuesday August 27th 1911 I put up tomatoes in the morning. I rested some and went down home awhile I came up through town for some things. we heard today that Jan Kils was hurt with a car last night. Wednesday August 28th 1912 I was busy with tomatoes and other things till noon. I rested some early in afternoon and took some eggs down to Hattie. I stayed till after supper and came to town with Rob & Cora to the picture show. Home at 9:15. Thursday August 29th 1912 Will & I went down town together at 10:15. I did some errands and went out to the fair grounds. I got my dinner there and was with Cora most of the time till I came home at 4:30. Will went over with Rob to dinner and to the fair in afternoon. Friday August 30th 1912 A warm today. I put up more tomatoes and made jelly. Did baking and was not ready to rest till three oclock. Will busy about the place in forenoon and went to the fair in the afternoon. Jinnie sent Joe in for more oil today.
