Saturday October 12th 1912 It was fine day. I washed and ironed and cleaned the garret. Hattie & Fannie came out at 4:40 and staid till 9:15. We had a good visit. Will down town twice. Sunday October 13th 1912 I went to church in the morning and stopped at Dr Smith's office on my way home. Got the dinner and wrote some. Will and I had a talk this morning and I find he does not care to go to Ohio with me. I wrote to Lydia and Mary Briggs in the afternoon. I read in the evening. The folks all went to Cemetery. Monday October 14th 1912 Will went to town in the morning and got the nails for the crib and my machine fixed. I went to town an hour after dinner to get things needed and sewed all afternoon when I got back. The evenings this week I went to make a tatting for Fannie. Tuesday October 15th 1912 We were up early and Will took The Miller boys and Mr Huff to the west farm to work on the crib. I worked all day on my green dress. The weather is perfectly splendid. Wednesday October 16th 1912 Wills time was taken up today with getting a new top for the chimney for the house Frank Vaughn lives in. I sewed all day on my green dress and got it nearly done. I am well pleased with it.
