Monday November 4th 1912 Sue & Sallie Reed come up from Portsmouth this morning and soon as we had dinner we started out to go around Piketon. we were in several of the homes where our people had lived. was in the house that Father & Mother first kept house in. Oh if Mother were only here that I could tell her about it when I go home. The day with Sue & Sallie was one long to be remembered. I left for Chillcothe at 4:20. When I reached Marys the supper was ready and she came down to eat with me. We talked of my visit all evening. Tuesday November 5th 1912 This is election day. I suppose Ott is home to vote. I went down town in afternoon. called on Mis Esther and did some errands. wrote letters in forenoon. Wednesday November 6th 1912 we hear this morning that Wilson was elected president. Mary and I visited all morning. I went down to Harmons to call in afternoon and came home in a shower. Mary and I looked at old pictures all evening. Thursday Novembver 7th 1912 I did a little fancy work and talked with Mary in the forenoon. Soon after dinner called to say good by to Aunt Mary Dunlap and called on Tomlinsons who are relatives of Wills. went down town to get my watch. I did not get any mail. I suppose I will find it in Delavan when I get there.
