Tuesday November 12th 1912 It was like a summer day with two hard rains. I did sweeping and washing wood-work all day. Ott started to Marshalltown at 12:30 and Hattie started an hour later. They meet the folks from Chicago at Cedar Rapids and go on with them. Mrs Bremmer will be buried tomorrow. Wedneasday November 13th 1912 It was cooler today. I washed windows up stairs and did baking. I went to town an hour in the afternoon. I got some quinces and made preserves in the evening. The folks got back from Marshalltown at 7:30. LeGrand and Charles Bremmer same earlier. Thursday November 14th 1912 Will helepd me do a big washing in the foreoon I got through dinner so I went down at 1:15 to spend the afternoon with Fannie. I found her in better state of mind than I expected to. Came home at 4:15. Did evening work and fold the clothes to iron Elmer, Ida & Mary out for the evening. Friday November 15th 1912 I did the ironing in forenoon & was too tired to work at house cleaning so Will and I took a ride to the farm. We did not find any one at home. I knit in evening. Hattie, Rob & Cora were out to spend the evening. Saturday November 16th 1912 A nice day and I worked all day at cleaning house did sweepiong, washed windowns, &c. Will to town in afternoon. I was very tired so ready on evening and went to bed early The University students at Ames to football game.
