Monday December 2nd 1912 I was busy with the work all the forenoon. I went to town at 1:15 and did some errands and and Cora and I went to the matinee of "Freckles" I gist finished reading the book. It was very good. I did not get home till 5:30. I sewed some in the evening. I had a letter from Ida. Tuesday December 3rd 1912 I was doing the house work all morning. I went to town at 3:15 to attend the funeral of Margaret Lee at The Trinity Church. I did some shopping and went up to The M. E. Church to the bazaar. Will, Rob & Cora came later and we all had supper together. we came home at 7:30 read awhile and went to bed. wrote Lydia in the forenoon. Wednesday December 4th 1912 I sewed all day taking very little time for the house work. I cut and made Will a couple of plain night shirts. I finished them at ten oclock. Thursday December 5th 1912 I wrote a letter to Ida and get some sewing on hand before noon. I finished a waist I began for myself some time ago by working till bed time. Will sold 4 hogs to Dr Francis for $48.00 Friday December 6th 1912 I did a big days work sweeping, cooking , &c and was done by three oclock ready for clean clothes and to get at my supper. John & Callie McCallister, Jacob Stinson and Hattie were out. They went back at 8:15 and I washed up the dishes. weather turned colder last night.
