Saturday December 7th 1912 weather more pleasant. My hands are so sore I can scarcely use them. I did want to wash. I went down town at 10:15 and over home for dinner stopping at Coras first. Will came for dinner. I came home at 4:30 did fancy work in eve Sunday December 8th 1912 weather much colder again. Will went to town at 10:15 to help take Mort Hoffman to the hospital to be operated on for appendicitis. I put in the morning looking over business papers and putting them away. I read in the afternoon and went to church in the eve with Tishie and the girls. Monday December 9th 1912 It was real cold this morning but warmed up later in the day. I did some fancy work in afternoon and evening. It was 14 years today since Edith died. Tuesday December 10th 1912 Will helped me work. It blew very hard toward noon. Some of the clothes got of the line and will need to be washed again. I went down town at 4:15 and to the Christian Church supper with Rob & Cora. I came home at 6:30. Did fancy work in the evening. Wednesday December 11th 1912 I ironed in the forenoon and did some sewing. I went down to Fannies after dinner and was up home for supper. Hattie gave me some clothes of Johns to fix for Will. I walked to town with Paul Anderson coming home at 7:15. Did fancy work the rest of the evening. A letter from Nellie
