Sunday January 19th 1913 Mollie & I went to church. That of course made the dinner late and we just visited till she went home at 5:15. Soon after we had some supper Will took a hard chill. I doctored him up and put him to bed. Monday January 20th 1913 It was a frightfully cold day. I got up and looked after things. Art Jones did Wills chores. He got up at noon and did them in the evening. I sat by the fire and read. I did not feel like doing anything else. Tuesday January 21st 1913 Will felt so must better he did the work himself. The weather was better. I worked on a collar I am working for my long cloak what spare time I had. Wednesday January 22nd 1913 Will helped me wash it was a fine day and the clothes were dry so I ironed in afternoon. Will went to town. I did some mending and read in the evening. Thursday January 23rd 1913 Will to town to a road convention all day. Hattie out for dinner. weather fine. I worked on my tatting bag. Friday January 24th 1913 Did some cooking in forenoon. I had a letter from Ida. she starts to California nexty Monday. Fannie had a letter that said they took Edith Thurmonds body on to Honolulu but will bring it back to New York. I was down to Hatties in afternoon. Aunt Ellen & Lib Stevens were there. Cora came home with me and Rob out to supper. I wrote fo Ida.
