Thursday February 13th 1913 I put in the whole day swepping and cleaning and washed curtains. I had things ready so it wasent much trouble to get the meals. A letter from Ida. she has started to California. Friday February 14th 1913 Will went to town and I put up curtains and finished the cleaning. I went to town in the afternoon and then over to stop and Fannies awhile. Hattie & Lorie met us at Robs where Cora had a nice supper for us. A pleasant evening home at 9:40. Saturday February 15th 1913 I did some cooking in the morning and spent the afternoon at Mary Woolfs. Will was in town but came home ahead of me. I read and did fancy work in the evening. a fine day. Sunday February 16th 1913 It was pleasant and we went to church. met Rob & Cora on the street and all went to the Christian Church. Then to The Van Meter for dinner. Cora and I rode over the river and the boys walked. We came home at 3:40. I wrote a letter to Blanch Dow before supper. In the evening I wrote to Lizzie Lindley, Mary Briggs, and Lydia. Monday February 17th 1913 It was a fine day. Will helped me do a big washing and I did a lot of cleaning after dinner. read some. Tuesday February 18th 1913 I did ironing in forenoon. Went to town at 2:15 and over the river. took supper at Otts & LeGrand went to town with me and I went to church. It was like a spring day. Lorie not well today.
