Saturday May 24th 1913 I did some baking and went down to Hatties at 11:15 She had some of the relatives invited to dinner. We spent a very pleasant day. Come home at 5:40. I had a letter from Mary Briggs with views of the Chillicothe flood. Sunday May 25th1913 It was a drizzling cloud day. Mrs Parsons and I went to church and spent the afternoon reading. We looked over old pictures in the evening. Marne Hoff here awhile. Monday May 26th 1913 I tired to sew some but was busy with the house work most of the day. Hattie Lorie Mollie Ott & Fannie were out for supper and did not go home till 9:15. Tuesday May 27h 1913 After lunch at 11:00 oclock Mrs Parsons annI went downtown. Se went home at 12:08. I sewed all afternoon. Will got a load of corn from Frank Hemphill in forenoon. Wednesday May 28th 1913 I sewed all day. The most of the time on a silk waist.
