Thursday June 5th 1913 Vene and I went down town this morning to look about the stores some. I slept awhile in the afternoon. I had a letter from Will. wrote him. spent the evening at home. Friday June 6th 1913 Art Vene Ralph & I made a trip to Packing town in the forenoon. very warm. I slept in afternoon. a shower at night. Saturday June 7th 1913 Vene and I down town in forenoon. rested and visited in afternoon. had a letter from Will Cora & Fannie. Vene went with Arts folks to see the crowd on the streets. Sunday June 8th 1913 It rained so we could not go to the church in forenoon was over to Arts most of the afternoon. Went to the M E Church in evening to hear a sermon on [Poster?] Russell. The new doctrine that Mary Woolf is interested in. Monday June 9th 1913 It rained all day. We visited and I wrote some. Grace was over awhile. a letter from Will. Went to a musical recital in the evening. The graduate was Martha Thompson, a great grand daughter of Jake Stinson. still rainig some. Tuesday June 10th 1913 Vene & I went down town in the morning. I rested and slept in the afternoon. I went with Art & Grace to shows in the evening. the weather is cooler after the rain. I wrote some to the girls at home.
