Monday September 22nd 1913 Will helped me do a big washing in the forenoon and then he digged some potatoes. I ironed in afternoon. Will went down to Woolfs for a bushel of peaches they had got for me. I wrote to Lizzie Duncan in the evening. Tuesday September 23rd 1913 I worked all day at the peaches. I finished them before supper and put up 22 qts. I read in the evening. Wednesday September 24th 1913 I put up tomatoes and bottled grape juice besides making jelly. Will busy about the place in forenoon. Ott & Fannie started to Chicago tonight to attend Charles Bremmers wedding. We went to Mrs Ed Titambs funeral in the afternoon at 4:30. Thursday September 25th 1913 I did some baking and got the dinner at 1:15. I went down home to spend the afternoon. It was raining when I went but stopped before night. I came home at 5:30. Friday September 26th 1913 It was a nice day. I washed some waists and dressed for myself and ironed them too. Will finished digging the potatoes. Ott got home from Chicago today. Fannie comes later. Saturday September 27th 1913 It was a wonderful fine day. Will went to town at 10:15 and had dinner with Rob & Cora. I went an hour later taking my lunch up to Mrs Rich to the Elder Daughter party at 2:30. I came down tome to go to The Matinee with Cora, got home at 5:40. Had supper and read all evening. A year today since John Whetstone died.
