Sunday September 28th 1913 We were late getting up and it looked like rain so I did not attempt Church. Will & I were most of the forenoon looking over the grounds planning where to change fences and which old buildings to tear down. After dinner. I went down to Woolfs and walked over to Hatties and did not come home till 8:30. a misty night. Monday September 29th 1913 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Fannie got home from Charles Bremmers wedding last night and Ida came with her. I went down town in afternoon. was over to Fannies. I worked all evening getting things ready to make pickles. Tuesday September 30th 1913 I swept the house all over and baked a cake, did more work on my green tomatoes. Ida came out in the afternoon. Will was down to The Court house to hear the Dr Deerfoot trial for the shooting of his wife. Wednesday October 1st 1913 I was busy with the work most of the forenoon. Will went to town again in afternoon. Ida & I at 2:15. she went over the river and I up to the Dr office. Later I went over to Mrs A G Smiths by invitation. The other girls were there. LeGrand brought us home in the Auto. Thursday October 2nd 1913 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Ida went down town Rob Cora & Hattie were out for supper and did not go home till 9:15.
