Saturday November 8th 1913 There was a frightful wind blowing all day. I did some cleaning up stairs and got the dinner. Will went to town in the afternoon and I went down to sit with Mrs Robinson. I finished the tatting for one pillow today. Sunday November 9th 1913 Weather a little better. I went to church. The weather turned bad toward evening. It was late when I got dinner over. I read and wrote what spare time I had. Monday November 10th 1913 It was a frightfully cold windy day. I was at home and did sewing. Made Will some mittens. Marne Hoff was here part of the afternoon. I made tatting in the evening. Tuesday November 11, 1913 I devoted all forenoon to the cooking. Spent the afternoon [deleted text: with Mrs Robinson] at my fancy work. Marne was here agin. I had a letter from Warner McCall. Wednesday November 12th 1913 I did a little washing and ironing. It was a pleasant day. Will brought out the new pipe for the top of the kitchen chimney and painted it. I went down to the Presbyterian Church to supper by invitation from Hattie. Thursday November 13th 1913 I did baking and other work in forenoon. Ella Wilcox Lorie & Hattie were out for the afternoon. Will down town Cora went to Cedar Rapids to meet her Mother. They came down at 8:15 the car the girls went home on.
