Friday November 14th 1913 I got my work down, ate lunch and went down at 11:15 to hear Governor Clarke speak at the dedication of the tabernacle. Cora's friends, the Kinneys from Minneapolis were on the car. I went to see about my teeth and then up to Nellie Morres where I stayed till night. We came down town together. The folks from over the river were there to see a big torch light procession by the students. Will came down. We got home at 9:30. Saturday November 15th 1913 I went down home at 9:15 and Will came later to dinner. Will & Emily Bremmer came home this morning for the foot ball game with Ames College. Fannie is not able to be up. I went to town to get some things and waited at the depot from 4:15 till 7 oclock before I could get on a car to come home there was such a crowd. a letter from Ida says she is at North Henderson and her little Betty with her. I did a lot of work after coming home from town. fine day. Sunday November 16th 1913 I was busy all forenoon getting the dinner. Rob Cora Mrs Dow and Hattie were out. The day was beautiful. I went home with Hattie. We stopped to see Fannie and Will & Emily were up to Hatties to supper. They started home at 8:30. I came on out home on the same car. Monday November 17th 1913 weather threatening. I was busy sewing all day. Am fixing the yoke and sleeves to my green dress. Marne has gone away so she cant keep house for Will but I may go anyway.
