Wednesday December 3rd 1913 Ida and Betty went to town in the forenoon. I got the dinner. We visited and did fancy work when at home. Thursday December 4th 1913 We were home all day busy with the work. Ida did some washing. I was working at the tatting. weather brighter. Friday December 5th 1913 We were busy with various things till 4:15. Ida & I took the baby and baggage down to Hatties. I was at Coras a little while she got home from Des Moines today. After supper I went to town with Loyd. I got a few things and went to the Tabernacle meeting. got home at 9:45. cloudy again. Saturday December 6th 1913 I was busy all day till after two oclock doing cleaning and baking. I read and did fancy work a couple of hours. I then dressed a chicken and got supper early. I went down town at 6:15 for an hour to get things I needed. I was glad I did not stay longer for it set in to rain. Sunday December 7th 1913 It was cold and windy and freezing hard. Hart Spencer telephoned they could not come up today. I got dinner for ourselves and read and wrote some. Monday December 8th 1913 The weather was nice again. I went to town at 9:15 and down to the depot to see Ida & Betty start home. I could not see Dr Smith so went back in afternoon. Home at 4:30. I began Nellies knit jacket in the evening.
