Monday December 22nd 1913 Was home all day. Made tatting all forenoon and early PM and finished Jane's pillow cases. In the evening did up more packages and wrote letters and cards. Tuesday December 23rd 1913 I got my work done so I went to town at 9:15 to mail packages and got a few more things. Then went over the river to spend the day with the girls. Home at 4:30. I read in evening. Wednesday December 24th 1913 When I got up was suffering with Bladder trouble. Will went right down town for medicine that I took every three hours and kept quiet. weather fine. what a good thing my things are all sent. Thursday December 25th 1913 I did not feel any better but LeGrand came and took us down in the auto. I was not suffering so much but that I could enjoy the day if I did not walk about much. The dinner was fine and we were well remembered. A present I prized highly was a set of Venetian beads from Ott & Fannie. We had lunch at Otts and stopped to hear Otto Jellison sing on our way up home. A letter from Edith Mason says she will be here Saturday night. Friday December 26th 1913 I feel about as I did yesterday. I took my medicine very faithfully. Will came done for dinner. Hattie & Fannie went to "P E O" meeting in the afternoon. The girls had been very busy all forenoon so Lorie rested awhile and then we visited. We spent the evening at home and none of the folks were here. Little Robert Jellison has a bad cold.
