Thursday January 29th 1914 I was busy with the work all forenoon. We got up so late. weather quite cold. I went down to Hattie at 3:15. Fannie & Mrs Teeters were there. Cora went home today. I was over these jist before supper. Hattie Loyd Agnes and I went to town together after supper. I went to a musical recital. Home at 9:30. Friday January 30th 1914 I was busy with the work all forenoon. I left home at 1:15 and went over to call on Addie Kennard on South Van Buren St. Later I went out to Summit on the car. was at Ida Andersons. I came home at 4:30 got supper and did fancy work in evening. Saturday January 31st 1914 I did cake baking and other work. Will went to town at 1:15 and I an hour later. I got some things needed and went out to see Mrs Emmons about my dress. It was snowing so when I got back I did not go over to Coras but came on home. I sewed some in the evening. Sunday February 1st 1914 It was a fine morning and Will & I went to church. I got dinner after I came home and wrote to Lizzie Lindley. I read most of the evening. Monday February 2nd 1914 I was busy about the work all forenoon and at 1:15 went down to meet Cora and went to a Matinee. I did not get home till 5:40. Will had the kitchen fire started so I soon got supper. I did fancy work and read in evening. A beautiful letter from Alvin Harty and a short letter from Sister Ida.
