Friday February 13th 1914 Not quite so cold today. I did some baking in the am and worked on the tatting what spare time I had. Saturday February 14th 1914 Will helped me wash a few things that I hung in the house to dry. I had dinner so he went to town at 12:15 and I an hour later. I went out to try on my dress and was back at 2:40. I ironed the things before supper and worked at the tatting all evening. Sunday February 15th 1914 It was snowing when we got up. We were invited down to Coras for dinner. I persuaded Will to go without me. Hattie was to be there. I go so many times without him. The wind blew very strong late in the day and drifted the snow. I wrote Lar Simpson Alice Herty and Lydia. I read in evening. Monday February 16th 1914 weather very cold. I was at home all day. I tried to sew some and made some tatting. Will about home most of the time. Tuesday February 18th 1914 I was busy with the wash all forenoon. weather warmer. I went to town at 1:15 to get some things and Mrs Emmons had by dress done. she changed me $6.50. I worked at tatting all the evening. Wednesday February 18th 1914 I was sewing all day on a silk petticoat like the dress Mrs Emmons made. I went down at 7:15 to meet Hattie & Cora at the store and go to the lecture by Mrs McChesney about her trip to Panama. It was very interesting got home at 10:40
