Thursday June 4th 1914 I went to town at 8:15. Did some errands and to Dr Smiths office. Then up to Mrs Sterlings funeral. I hurried to get the 11:30 car home. I brought out my light hat the Dare Sisters had fixed for me. I did not try to go to the concert at the Park for which I had a ticket. Very warm. Friday June 5th 1914 I was busy all forenoon. I had dinner early to go to town at 1:15. The car was late and I rode into town with Dede Dennis. I mailed a letter to Nellie that we would not come to see her now and went over to Hatties to the Presbyterian aid. Later LeGrand took us over to Aunt Emmas to call on Mary Price and Edna. We took a short ride and I came home at 7:30. A rain last night made it some cooler. Saturday June 6th 1914 I did not do much of any thing in forenoon. Got dinner so Will went to town at 12:15. I went an hour later to spend the afternoon with Hattie. I came home at 8:30. Sunday June 7th 1914 A very warm day. I went to church in the morning. It was very warm and late when I got dinner over. I sat on the porch talking with Will most of the afternoon. Will took two horses to pasture for Mr Eggenburg. I wrote to Lydia after supper while I sat on the proch.
