Wednesday July 15th 1914 It was a fine day. We washed and Will went to town in the afternoon. I worked on my center piece and slept some. Thursday July 16th 1914 I ironed baked bread and cake and washed and pressed Wills light pants. It was late when I got dinner and was very tired. I slept in afternoon and did fancy work. Friday July 17th 1914 We drove down to Coras this morning coming in from the west over the new road. It is fine. Edith did not understand she was invited for dinner and thinking it was for supper went to Amana with the Andersons. Will came home ahead of me and I at 4:30. I had a letter from Lizzie Lindley wanting us to come. I wrote Hattie sending it to her. Edith got back before supper. Will not so well today. Saturday July 18th 1914 I was not well in the morning. Edith got the breakfast and did some washing. I got the dinner. She went out to George Stevens in afternoon. I slept awhile. In the evening we went to town, met Cora and went to picture show. Sunday July 19th 1914 I did some work in the forenoon and slept all afternoon, talked with Will on the porch in evening. warm. Monday July 20th 1914 Went to town to Dr Breene about my teeth. Was up to Dr Smiths office to talk with him about Will. He is not alarmed about him at all. Edith home at noon. I did fancy work and wrote Hattie in afternoon.
