Saturday October 3rd 1914 I was busy with the work all forenoon. I read and did fancy work some. Late in afternoon was up town to see Dr Knight about taking treatment next week. Will got a card from Otis Davis at supper time and found him at the hotel jist ready to start for home. The evening at Janes. Sunday October 4th 1914 Did not go to church in the morning. We were over to Art Mc for dinner and visited there awhile. Then went on over to Janes. We read in our room all eve. I wrote some letters during the day. weather cooler. Monday October 5th 1914 I was busy most of the forenoon with my work. I went up to Dr Knights's for my first treatment at two oclock. We spent the evening at Janes as her Will goes tomorrow. Tuesday October 6th 1914 I got Hatties letter of a week ago that some one else had opened. I wrote her a long letter before noon. I went for my treatment in afternoon and spent the evening over at Janes. I am working on lace for center piece. Wednesday October 7th 1914 I did some washing in the morning and took the treatment in afternoon. The went farther up town to look for some linen I needed. I read some after I came home. I wrote Lydia after supper and we walked down to mail it after calling at Art Mc----- Then talked on the proch with Dr & Mrs Phillips.
