Sunday December 13th 1914 It was a dark cold day. I was at home and put in most of my time in writing ten long letters. Monday December 14th 1914 It was frightfully cold. I did the work and sewed some on a kimona I will need when on the way to Florida. Tuesday December 15th 1914 Still quite cold. I was busy sewing. Will went to town in the afternoon awhile. A letter from Warner McCall. Wednesday December 16th 1914 I baked a cake for the Church Bazaar supper tonight and sent it down by Will. There was a young man out this morning to look over the place. I did not go down to the supper. Thursday December 17th 1914 I was at home sewing all day. I finished my kimona and have a start on a waist for my green stripe dress. and am getting some [ordetrating?] done in the evenings. Friday December 18th 1914 Will went to town at 11:15 and got his dinner there. I ate lunch and went at 12:15. Did some errands and we went over to look at town properties on Dodge St & Kirkwood Ave with the view of trading. Not very satisfactory. Came home at 3:30. Did evening work. Saturday December 19th [1914] Will helped me do a big washing. He went to town. I sewed most of the afternoon and was busy till late bed time doing things. The sun shone today the first time for a week.
