Sunday December 20th 1914 I wrote letters and did up packages all the time I was not busy with the necessary work. It was a dark day with some snow falling. Monday December 21st 1914 It was a cold day. I ironed and did some more work on things to be given away later. Tuesday December 22nd 1914 I got my work over early and ate some lunch before going down town at 12:15. I mailed letters & packages went up to Dr Smiths office and then out to Aunt Emmas. I did not get home till 5:30. I did fancy work in evening. Wednesday December 23rd 1914 I was busy till I had lunch in time to go down to Coras at 12:15. Fannie came up right after dinner and invited them down for Christmas. After she had gone home we had a great talk over it. I came home at 4:30. Thursday December 24th 1914 I was busy about home all forenoon. Finished up some work. weather cold. Hattie says the folks are going down to Ott. I took a package down to Woolfs at 2:15. Home at 4:30. Friday December 25th 1914 We were all at Otts today. There as no end of presents and such a splendid dinner. It was the happiest Christmas day we have had for some years. Will came home an hour ahead of me to fix the furnace fire I came at 5:30. weather very cold. I read all evening.
