Tuesday January 19th 1915 weather cool & cloudy. We were at home all day. Did some reading, writing, and fancy work. A letter from Mrs J J Huebner of Denver tells me John died the 19th of December. Wednesday January 20th 1915 We were at home most of the day. Late in the afternoon called at Taylors and then went down town of errands. A letter from Cora and Will tells of their doings at home. Fannie not well. Thursday Januaryu 21st 1915 It was fine day. We went down town late in the afternoon. A letter from Rob today tells of Mrs Kosers and Mrs Dr Hobbys death. I saw in the paper that Ethel Miller had died. I wrote to Will & Mrs Jones and forwarded letter to Lorie. The Taylors called in the evening. Friday January 22nd 1915 A very good day. I wrote letters in the afternoon to Ida Anderson, Mrs Huebner, and Mattie Stills. Walter left his work to take us to town late in the afternoon. Saturday January 28t3rd 1915 We were busy with various things in forenoon. And rather early in afternoon went down town with the folks who had errands to do. We went with Mrs Falk to make some calls. It was very warm. Forgot the P O key so did not get mail. Sunday January 24th 1915 It was just like a summer day. We went in town and sat in the car to read a lot of mail we got while Walter and his mother went to theur meeting. We spent the afternoon readung at home. Went to bed early.
