Friday March 5th 1915 It had rained very hard on all the country we passed through today. We reached "Nashville" jist beofre sun-down. The people in the car with me are very nice. Saturday March 6th 1915 We reached Chicago at 8:10 an hour late. In company with a Mrs Reed who had been with me all the way from Jacksonville. I got to The Milwuakee depot in time for a train north. We got breakfast on the train. It snowed on us all the way. Ida met me and while we were in a store I bought nyself such a nice hand bag. When we got to the house. Nellie had gone to the hospital for "Betty." She had been away 5 weeks. Harry came home to see her at noon. We spent the afternoon visiting. Sunday March 7th 1915 It was still snowing this morning. Ida and I went out to dinner and took a street car ride out to see her house. Betty seems quite like herself. We spent evening visiting. Monday March 8th 1915 We had breakfast so Harry went with me to the depot at 7 oclock. It was near his work. I had only a short visit in Chicago and a nice train to come home on. I was car sick which interfered with my pleasure. Will & Cora was at the station. We got my trunk out when we came at 4:30. I saw Rob and may others I knew before coming out. I took the fruit out of the trunk. Ott & Fannie were out in the evening. Fannie was please with her basket. Hattie & I got for her.
