Sunday March 21st 1915 We went to church and to "the Burchle" for dinner. We then walked out to Aunt Emmas for a call and later were at Elmers till time to come home on the 5:30 car. Weather not very pleasant but we spent the day most pleasantly. Monday March 22nd 1915 Was busy with the work most of the forenoon. Will & I went to town at 2:15 to go to a picture show given under the auspices of the K. P. Lodge. It was very good. Home at 4:30. Tuesday March 23rd 1915 I wrote a letter to Hattie the first thing after breakfast. Soon after dinner Mr Ellis called and I went with him down to Frankie Pointains. And later she and I walked up to Dennis to see how Grant was. It is very hard for his Mother to have him ill. a letter from Ida. Wednesday March 24th 1915 very busy all forenoon. Will & I went to town together. I made a time deposit loan of $500.00. I called on Emma. start and come back on the same car with Will at 4:30. quite warm. Father would have been 99 years old today. Thursday March 25th 1915 We did quite a washing this morning. I put some of the things in the house and others in the tub. It blew up so cold. I sewed in afternoon making Ott a mother hifford wrapper for a burlesque party. We heard from Ida today that Nellie has scarlet fever. Friday March 26th 1915 I ironed the things dried in the house and put the others out. I took Otts things down to him at 2:15. Then went to a picture show and later to talk with Dr Smith about the danger of contagion to myself in going to Milwaukee. No letters today from any one.
