Thursday April 8th 1915 We were up earlier so we had every thing ready to go down town at 8:15. Ott got home from Cleveland this morning. We saw him as we were going to the depot. Had a very pleasant trip over. Jim met us and said Harry & Loria had jist left for home. They had brought Harry's infant sons for burial. The folks were very much grieved. Spent the evening visiting. Friday April 9th 1915 I was at the house all day. I wrote some letters read in a book and visited with the folks. We go to Woolfs tomorrow. Saturday April 10th 1915 It rained nearly all last night and till ten oclock today. We could not go to the country. I went over town in afternoon. I met a number of people I knew Will & I walked home together. Sunday April 11th 1915 We went to church and spent the afternoon at home. I read. Jim & Will visited and Vene took a nap. Lydia was busy in her own room and Edith went to the cemtery. All home in evening. [illeg] to Harry in morning at Springfield. Monday April 12th 1915 Vene busy with her work most of the day. I was doing some fancy work and made some calls in afternoon. Will up town most of the day when home was reading a book. Tuesday April 13th 1915 I had a letter from Fannie. I wrote to Hattie. I went up town soon after dinner to make some calls. We went to Carl Duncans for supper and later to the Presbyterian church to a home [illeg] concert. It was very good. The folks hear from Mabels mother. She is not getting well very rapidly.
