Monday May 31st 1915 I took an Auto ride with Marnie in forenoon. In PM we all went to the top of the bank. The view was fine Decoration day is being celebrated. Spent the evening at Ann's. Tuesday June 1st 1915 Were around town in forenoon and did packing. We left at 1:15 for Cincinnati in the Kentucky side. It was raining when we reached there so had supper in depot and got a cab to take us to the boat "The Ohio" for the night. Wednesday June 12nd 1915 We went up town for breakfast and to Madisonville to try and find Will Ware. He had moved to the country. Got dinner in the city and down to the boat before it rained. Started at 5 PM. Thursday June 3rd 1915 We reached Louisville at 11:50. Ella Nagle, Dan Ware & wife came on the boat, took dinner and visited with us till the boat left at 4:30. We were so glad to see the folks. Friday June 4th 1915 We were at Grand View, Ky all day putting on freight. I wrote letters. Watched the men load the boat. Talked with the folks on the boat and slept some. Saturday June 5th 1915 I was sick most of the forenoon. But got up after dinner. The folks on board were very nice to me. I wrote some cards. At Paducah we saw such a pretty party of dancers on another boat. This is the last night on "The Ohio" I did our packing tonight. We had a storm at early bed-time and put in to shore.
