Friday August 6th 1915 Rob went to Cedar Rapids for their new Auto. LeGrand with the girls up too. Will & I were at home for things in afternoon. We rode in the Auto with Otts folks in the evening. Saturday August 7th 1915 Will & I went to town for a lot of things in the morning. He came out to Coralville in afternoon. I put netting on some windows. Will went with Hattie & I to Chautauqua in the evening. Sunday August 8th 1915 Hattie went to Muscatine with Otts folks for dinner. In the evening Hattie & I went to Chautauqua. It is the last evening of it. Monday August 9th 1915 Hattie & Cora did a big washing. I helped some with the work. Will & I came out to the place in afternoon. I had letter from Mattie Stilts. Tuesday August 10th 1915 We all went to town to see the show parade but they were so late getting in there was none. We had dinner in town. Will then brought me home. I wrote some letters. The folks all went to the show but Hattie. She worked helping some dinner for The Home. Wednesday August 11th 1915 Hattie cleaned the house all over. I ironed. We went down to Fannies in afternoon to Missionary meeting. A hard rain at 6:30 P.M. Rob & Cora took their first trip to country in the new Auto. Thursday August 12th 1915 Ott was not well today. All of us but Fannie went to Mrs Broadways to a little party. Rob came for us in the car. And we rode around town awhile.
