Friday August 13, 1915 I was busy fixing screens in forenoon. Will & I went to town soon after dinner and got a bushel of peaches. When we came back took a ride with the folks in ther car. Saturday August 14th 1915 We went up early this morning and I worked all day at putting up the peaches and other things. Will went over town in the evening. Hattie spent evening at home. Sunday August 15th 1915 I have such a lame back I can hardly get about. We were all at Otts for dinner. Then the most of them went to ride in Robs car. Ott visited with Will & I at the old place. Monday August 16th 1915 The girls did a big washing. I got the dinner and fixed the last of the screens. Will went up to mow our yard. The girls ironed some in afternoon. Very warm. Cora started to Minneapolis tonight. Ron went with her to West Liberty. Tuesday August 17th 1915 We did the ironing and some baking in forenoon. Hattie went with Fannie to Country Club party in afternoon. I was over town a little while. Will to town in evening. We at home. Wednesday August 18th 1915 Soon after breakfast Rob took us up home in the car to get some things and later Will & Hattie went to town with him. weather cool. I got the dinner. I wrote some in afternoon and did fancy work. Was down to Otts in evening and we went to see the soldiers dress parade. Then rode awhile. Fannie, both boys, Hattie & I.
