Friday September 10th 1915 It rained all day so there was no Old Settlers picnic. Newt Parvin & wife were here in afternoon to see Mrs Lee. Saturday September 11th 1915 It rained slightly most of the day. Was busy with baking in forenoon. Went to Coralville in afternoon and spent the evening down at Otts. Will got home tonight. Sunday September 12th 1915 It was a very hot day. I did not go to church. Mrs Lee was at Otts for dinner. Rob & Cora here. I slept part of the afternoon. We sat on the porch all evening. Monday September 13th 1915 The girls did a big washing and some of their ironing. I helped with the work. Mollie came tonight. We rode with Rob in the Auto in the eve. Mrs Lee went to the country. Tuesday Septmber 14th 1915 I washed some things for myself and ironed them in afternoon. It was very warm and I was tired. Hattie was down to Fannies in afternoon to visit with company she had. Wednesday September 15th 1915 Rob took us to Coralville in the car for some things. I went to town with Fannie in afternoon and spent the time with Ida Anderson. I rode with Rob & Cora in the evening. We took Jennie Shuck and Helen. The rain drove us home. It is 31 years today since Bro Rob died. Thursday September 16th 1915 Was busy with baking all forenoon. Hattie, Mrs Lee, and I rode with Fannie all afternoon. Spent evening at home.
