Sunday December 19th 1915 It was late when we got up. I did not attempt to go to Church. I changed things about some in our room. In afternoon felt badly as if I was taking cold. I read some in a book went to bed early. weather some pleasanter. Monday December 20th 1915 I was in bed all day. Got up in time to go down for supper. But went to bed early. Vene busy with the washing and other work. Tuesday December 21st 1915 I was still in bed all day till supper time. I am doing all things possible to break up this cold. I wrote Cora today. Had a letter from Fannie. I did some crocheting on lace I want to send to Mrs Smith for Christmas. Wednesday December 22nd 1915 I was still in bed all day. Stella came out and swept for Vene. I came down to supper. I wrote some letters and sent some more packages today. I worked a little on the lace. Thursday December 23rd 1915 Vene is not well. I got up to help some with the work. I wrote more letters and finished the lace for Mrs Smith and tatting I am making for Lydia. Edith came home tonight.
