Friday December 24th 1915 I wrote a lot of cards and did up one package. We opened our packages. Fannie gave me a beautiful feather bra, Cora handkerchief, and I received a few other things. It snowed all day. The Patton boys came first and later Harry, Mabel, Mrs Remington and Lorra came. They all had supper and visited till bed time. Saturday December 25th 1915 It was late when we had breakfast. Then the folks looked at their presents. The girls got a nice dinner. Vene down not feel well. The men were up town for mail. I got letters and cards and some more presents. It has stopped snowing but is cold. Sunday December 26th 1915 Some of the folks went to church. I was up in my room most of the forenoon. I still cough some. I wrote a long letter to Fannie. Spent the afternoon and evening visting with the folks. A sharp winter day. Monday December 27th 1915 Harry & family went home this morning. The girls got the meals. Vene and I did fancy work and talked. I got pictures of Ida, Nellie, Harry and Betty today. Tuesday December 28th 1915 It was very cold this morning. We are slowly improving from our colds. I had a letter from Hattie. She is home and said Ott was sick in bed Christmas day. I wrote her and did a little fancy work.
