Wednesday December 29th 1915 I had a taxi take me over to Lizzie Duncans in forenoon. Will came down there for dinner. I walked home. I stopped at Harry McKinstrys to see about my hair [switch?] The girls had done a big washing and got the clothes dry. Thursday December 30th 1915 I was sick to my stomach and did not get up till ten oclock. I did a little fancy work and did up a package for Dean Jones. I had a letter from Fannie. Ott is improving. Friday December 31st 1915 It was so rainy that Will did not attenmpt to go into Pekin with the girls to take dinner with Stella. We had a quiet day here. The Patton boys went away at 8:30 in the morning. I finished the lace for handerchief and sewed it in. I washed a few things. The girls came home at 6:45 Another year has passed away. I have had some pleasant journeys. The time spent in Florida with Hattie early in the year and later the visit Will and I made in Ohio. The weeks we were down at the old home place with Hattie and now the pleasant time here in the Mason family.
